@Red - Well, I'm a registered Democrat, truth be told. For many years, actually. Hell, I even voted once or twice. That was before I saw the light. But that doesn't mean I consider myself a free-thinker or that I am not a bigot. Lots of Dems are close-minded bullies and bigots, Red. Honest. Republicans don't have a corner on ignorance. Some of us are just bigoted against assholes and liars.
Mainly, though, I just like that silly zombie movie of Bob Hope in Cuba a zillion years ago. Where he was locked in that steamer trunk, that this clip was taken from. Had the punch line been "Republicans" I would have thought that was funny too. Or "Politicians". Or "Lawyers". I just have no faith in any of them anymore. So I alternate my ridicule and my attacks. Right now I am alternating my ridicule between McCain and Obama. Obama is on now for a few days, then McCain until the election. I won't attack their bodies or how they look; only their stupid policies. The name doesn't really matter, man. They are all shitheads who are just out for themselves and make a bunch of promises they will never keep. My opinion, of course.
But that's just me. You go for it. Maybe one will do something for you. You never can tell.
Duly noted, absolutley, look at Congressman (PA-D) Murtha's comment last week about his own constituents - absolutely assinine. Every party's got their wingnuts.
It's all part of that large chess game we call politics and as long as we can all stand back and laugh at it and ourselves and not take it so seriously, that's all that matters.
